What this site is
An independent visitor gazette. It is information, not a contract to take you anywhere, book anything, or sell you a passage. Operator names appear only as facts on the ground, never as a booking desk.
No professional advice
Times, access rules and road openings change. Check Vegagerðin, the airport operator and the venue you plan to visit. We are not liable for a closed pass or a missed coach.
Intellectual property
The texts are ours unless a page says otherwise. Short quotation with a link is fine. Reuse beyond that needs a message. Photographs remain with their authors under the licences on the image credits page. Fonts are SIL OFL.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site in a way that knocks it over, impersonate us, or use the contact form to send spam.

Law
Where the law allows a choice, Icelandic law applies, and the courts of Reykjavík have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence. EU consumer rules still apply where they must.
